Job description

You are part of the R&D team that does innovation studies for marketleaders and innovation driven “blue chip” companies such as P&G, Goodyear, Bekaert, Alpro, InBev. Being part of the innovation projects team, you will perform research in very different sectors, you will have time to study the state of the art research in each domain, have interesting contacts, generate new ideas and present your findings, suggestions and ideas. Data mining, patent-analysis, following up of new developments, making and giving presentations are all part of your job function.

Profile

We are looking for motivated civil-engineers (electro-mechanics | chemical technologies) and bio-engineers (Biomolecular | molecular biotechnologies) with a creative and open mind. Due to the frequent internal and external contacts, an excellent knowledge of languages (Eng, Fr) is indispensable, as well as outstanding communication skills.

You are part of the Software Development team that creates applications that make innovation and problem-solving easier.

Profile

We are looking for a gifted, flexible and self-motivated software developer to join and contribute to the success of our business. The successful applicant will have proven experience of programming from specification to implementation and will be adept at developing new projects in a Microsoft environment. Additional skills: excellent communication in English, French, Dutch, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, flexibility, ability to work under pressure, high motivation and enthusiasm, as well as a creative and open mind.

Technical expertise

• Visual Studio .Net (.NET 1.1/2.0, C#, ASP.Net)
• Relation Databases (MS SQL, MySQL)

• Knowledge of datamining or natural language techniques is a definite plus!
