 Audio tooth

A surgeon implants a tiny device into one of your teeth. This implant converts data received from a mobile telephone, radio or computer into vibrations, which resonate through your jawbone into your inner ear. You - and only you - can hear the inform
The tooth implant is completely hidden, and the sound you hear doesn't travel through the air. So a city trader, for example, could hear information on the next big deal before his competitors, even if he were having a dip in the sea at the time.

Property spectrum: Functionality
Increasing the number of dissimilar elements in a system can bring additional functionality, improved operability, and convenience. Dissimilarity of elements may be with respect to features, functionality or aesthetics.

 Pacifier thermometer

This thermometer is so comfortable, your baby might not want to let go of it when you're through! Cleverly disguised as a soothing pacifier with an orthodontic silicone nipple, it beeps when the reading is complete and has a large, easy-to-read display with a glowing 'Fever Alert' for faster feedback.

Property spectrum: Information
Systems and subsystems tend to evolve from requiring external input to becoming self-controlling through the use of feedback mechanisms. Using the controllability trend has a lot of advantages, for example: you can have an adaptive system, increased use of self-functions and reduced likelihood of failure.

 Transparent OLED

Researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany are working on the next generation of OLED technology, including the ability to create displays that can become completely transparent and be turned on and off at will. Uses envisioned for the displays include OLED overlays on top of LCD's that could be used to display specific information without interfering with the main picture and automobile windshields with built-in displays that can display information as needed and turn off when not in use. Of course, what we really want is a transparent window that turns into an HD display when we flick a switch, but that may just be a little too much to ask for at this point.

Property spectrum: Transparency
Products that are transparent have multiple advantages, other than a better aesthetic appearance, e.g.: increased natural illumination, saving energy, increased visibility for safety-ease of inspection.

 3D barcode

Content Idea of Asia Co. has developed a printable 3D code that can hold anywhere from 0.6 to 1.8 MB of data. Doubled PM Code, it is similar to a QR Code but consists of multiple layers of printing using the colours red, green and blue. The QR Code, which is made by printing a black 2D pattern on al white background, can store about 72 KB of data. The new PM Code goes a step further by storing the equivalent of several 60-second animated commercials for viewing on a cellular phone. The software to read the PM Code will be free. First 3D Barcode video ads should come this Summer in Japan.

Property spectrum: Dimensions
Geometric improvement of your product is another important innovator. Changing the dimensions of it to 2D or 3D, will improve compatibility with 'real world' effects. Other examples of changing dimensions are: paper binders, windscreens for cars and CAD systems.
