How can CREAX go beyond TRIZ?Of all the research we have conducted, TRIZ was by far the most interesting methodology. The basic idea of transferring knowledge across domains by going into abstract, has largely influenced the further development of the CREAX methodology. For those that know TRIZ, let us propose are important differences; be it the 40 principles, the trends of evolution or the S-fields, these tools are nothing more than properties that are changed to gain new or improved functions. However, there are much more properties then are described in the TRIZ methodology, and therefore our CREAX methodology is far more applicable in non-mechanical domains. It is much easier to use, since you know the properties of your product or process. Just like the TRIZ methodology has adopted function analysis, CREAX has adopted the 9 windows tool form the TRIZ methodology, as an effective framework for evaluating all resources and constraints in time and space. TRIZ uses abstract solutions, where Product DNA™ enables you to access specific existing solutions to innovate or solve problems. The approach of the CREAX methodology for finding new markets for existing solutions, is unique compared to systematic innovation technologies.
